The Challenge: Necessity for routine data management and business processing activities
Synergy InfoConnect realized over the years that they would need better and more routine data management and business processing activities. Their on premise database was clunky, expensive, and lacked the functionality of a cloud solution. iAppSys was introduced to the client in 2018 to explore and find a solution to their need. Utilizing iAppSys’ 5 step PayGROW solution, Synergy was able to test out the functionality, security, and scalability of Oracle’s Database Cloud Service.
The Solution
SafeSwitch
iAppSys’ “SafeSwitch” program, our proprietary lift and shift migration solution from our Managed Services team, rids clients of costly, unproductive, and poorly designed IT architecture. Within a few weeks, with Oracle and iAppSys, the plan was in place at Synergy. iAppSys provided the tools and the confidence to migrate away from their database, and legacy OS by upgrading its existing OS, then migrating to Oracle Database Cloud service to expedite its internal workloads to meet the demands of high reporting and critical business deadlines. The result is a highly available and scalable solution using Oracle Database Cloud Service, saving Synergy nearly 50% in annual services costs as well as increasing the daily SLA.
