The Challenge

As part of their business processes, ENGlobal has used Oracle
Primavera to manage their projects but they were hosting their
Primavera application using their on On-Premise datacenter.
This made their hosting costs high while also dealing with the
normal headaches of managing a data center.

The Solution

SafeSwitch

iAppSys’ “SafeSwitch” program, our proprietary lift and shift migration solution from our Managed Services team, rids clients of costly, unproductive, and poorly designed Cloud Infrastructure builds. Within a few weeks, with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and iAppSys, the plan was in place at ENGlobal. iAppSys provided the tools and the confidence to
migrate away from their legacy infrastructure, and legacy OS by upgrading its existing OS, then migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to expedite its internal workloads to meet the demands of high reporting and critical business deadlines. The result is a highly available and scalable solution using iAppSys' Managed services and Data Management, Oracle Primavera, and OCI, saving US Legal 50% in annual services costs as well as increasing the daily SLA and upgrading their Primavera application.

By following the proven out project plan, iAppSys was able to provide the customer with a fully managed solution while still cutting costs. ENGlobal continues to leverage OCI today
and iAppSys continues to monitor and manage the system. ENGlobal is a managed service customer of iAppSys, utilizing their 24/7 support services.
